MUSC Health – Kershaw Medical Center is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Leader to join a high-performing Anesthesia Care Team model in Camden, SC. The chosen candidate will report to the Director of CRNA Services and collaborates with the Anesthesiology Medical Director and Team, as well as other support staff to oversee the day-to-day CRNA operations in Camden, South Carolina.

Required Qualifications:
Provides clinical anesthesia care and
Promotes interprofessional collaboration and manages initiatives, strategic priorities, and program development which impact the culture, organization, and community.
Plans, organizes, facilitates, monitors, and evaluates activities and functions of the division-based employee and organizational goals.
Collaborates with leaders to establish operating procedures, enhance clinical and non-clinical workflows, increase productivity, and improve overall patient safety and quality outcomes and operational efficiencies within various anesthesia delivery settings.
Identifies improvements to practices, clinical process(es), scope of practice, and other areas which could affect patient management and clinical process.
Works to hire and empower and motivate team members to their highest potential.
Experience administering vascular, minimal pediatric, neuro, regional, and orthopedic anesthesia, as well as anesthesia for outpatient surgery.
Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs
The minimum education requirement for those hired after March 1, 2019, is a master’s degree, or higher, with the concentration in Nurse Anesthesia.
Insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits.
Must be recognized as an APRN to be eligible, with current license to practice, or eligibility to obtain practice in the state of South Carolina.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) require either a certification from an American Health Association (AHA) for Healthcare Providers or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Provider.

8, 10, & 12-hour shifts with separate dedicated night and weekend call staff.
