Required Qualifications:

  • Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

  • Minimum of two years of Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Critical Care, or ICU experience

  • South Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skills

  • Comfort practicing in a telehealth environment

Position Highlights:

  • Provide comprehensive virtual urgent care services utilizing MUSC Health's telemedicine platform

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of acute and episodic medical conditions

  • Practice with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating closely with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary teams

  • Improve healthcare access for underserved and vulnerable patient populations

  • Utilize innovative technology to deliver efficient, high-quality patient care

  • Interpret diagnostic studies and develop evidence-based treatment plans

  • Coordinate referrals and transitions of care when appropriate

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practice programs

  • Precept future APP students and contribute to a culture of learning and clinical excellence
