Job Description Summary

The Office Manager reports to the Senior Operations Manager. The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for our Continued Care Retirement Community locations. Under the direction of the Senior Operations Manager of Ambulatory Services, the Office Manager proactively assesses and implements appropriate processes to ensure that all facets of ambulatory management are effectively addressed. The Office Manager works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and facility leadership related to efficiency, practice optimization, fiscal integrity, and to foster the delivery of a quality patient care experience.

Job Description

First level management. Typically supervises one or more areas of a department. Supervises two or more professional and or support staff at work as well as their day to day activities. Main focus is on each employee they manage. May coordinate the business aspects of a department to include but not limited to strategy, project management, budget planning and oversight and financial operations.

Preferred 5 years of CCRC experience.

Additional Job Description

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Work Experience: 7 years progressive work experience and 2 years management experience

Licensures, Registrations, Certifications: State licensure and/or professional certification requirement/s dependent on position. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.

Physical Requirements: Continuous requirements are to perform job functions while standing, walking, and sitting.  Ability to bend at the waist, kneel, climb stairs, reach in all directions, fully use both hands and legs, possess good finger dexterity, perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders, reach in all directions.  Ability to be qualified physically for respirator use, initially and as required.  Maintain 20/40 vision corrected, see and recognize objects close at hand and at a distance, work in a latex safe environment and work indoors.   Frequently lift, lower, push and pull and/or carry objects weighing 50 lbs (+/-) unassisted, exert up to 50 lbs of force, lift from 36” to overhead 25 lbs. Infrequently work in dusty areas and confined/cramped spaces.
