Job Description Summary
MUSCP Onboarding Specialist ensures a timely and thorough onboarding of new hires and nonpaid individuals. The Onboarding Specialist will serve as the primary customer service contact for questions from hiring managers and new hires regarding onboarding and orientation requirements. The onboarding specialist will be representing the department by communicating and interacting in a professional, quality customer-service oriented manner to new hires, agency partners, hiring managers and other leaders. The Onboarding Specialist will be instrumental in creating a positive employee experience for new hires as they transition from applicants to employee. This position is an entry level human resources position with an existing career ladder for advancement.Entity

Job Description

Additional Job Description
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field from an accredited college or university, or High School Diploma or equivalent and two years of progressively responsible, business or customer service related experience in a dynamic and diverse environment. Human resources or payroll experience preferred. PHR or SHRM certifications accepted in lieu of experience.
