The James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC CDM) is seeking applications for a part-time non-tenure track dentist position in the Ryan White Dental Clinic. The dental faculty position is in the Department of Biomedical & Community Health Sciences with an appointment in the Division of Population Oral Health. The position will serve as attending faculty in the delivery of comprehensive general dentistry in the Ryan White Dental Clinic located at the Roper Hospital in West Ashley. The position will also serve as attending faculty in the Urgent Care and Special Needs Dentistry Clinics on our campus, when not providing services at the Ryan White Clinic. Job Description
The James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine, Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC CDM) is seeking applications for a part-time non-tenure track dentist position in the Ryan White Dental Clinic. The dental faculty position is in the Department of Biomedical & Community Health Sciences with an appointment in the Division of Population Oral Health. The position will serve as attending faculty in the delivery of comprehensive general dentistry in the Ryan White Dental Clinic located at the Roper Hospital in West Ashley. The position will also serve as attending faculty in the Urgent Care and Special Needs Dentistry Clinics on our campus, when not providing services at the Ryan White Clinic. The position requires the candidate to work 1-2.5 days per week.
Previous experience working in an academic environment or in safety net settings is preferred. Advanced training, such as completion of a GPR or AEGD Program OR equitable clinical experience is strongly desired.
Successful applicants must have a DMD or DDS degree and should qualify for a South Carolina dental license. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
