Job Description

Manages a team of pharmacy employees who, under the direction of a physician, compound and dispense prescribed drugs in a healthcare facility environment. Oversees daily pharmacy operations. Monitors and audits drug inventory, ensures compliance with all regulatory guidelines and reporting. 

Additional Job Description

Experience: minimum 5 years experience of direct oversight of pharmacy operations and regulatory requirements. Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred. Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
