Job Description

The Precertification Specialist / Surgery Scheduler coordinates the activities related to patient procedure scheduling within the peri-operative environment, interacts with other members of the health care team to achieve desired outcome. Performs pre-certification functions to ensure that all services requiring carrier authorizations are approved.
