Job Description
The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a skilled, BC/BE Radiation Oncologist to work full-time at their hospital in Florence, SC. This community-based practice uses a streamlined, multidisciplinary approach to provide high quality, compassionate care to patients in Florence and the surrounding communities.
The candidate chosen for this role will be connected to MUSC’s Department of Radiation Oncology in Charleston and will receive access to the division’s resources, as well as clinical support from the team at MUSC’s Hollings Cancer Center in Charleston, SC. Join a team of driven providers that is dedicated to making transformational cancer treatment more widely available to patients throughout South Carolina.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be BC/BE in Radiation Oncology
Position Highlights:
One location – MUSC Radiation Oncology Florence (Hollings Cancer Network)
Approx. 30 – 50 patients per day
Shared emergent call
On-site Lab and Pharmacy
2 Radiation Nurses, 4 Radiation Therapists, 1.5 Physicist and 1.5 Dosimetrist
Well-established, collaborative team
Equipment includes Varian Trilogy™, Eclipse software, ARIA® oncology information system, and CT Simulator with 4DCT capability.
