Job Description

To perform diagnostic medical radiographies for the emergency department, outpatient, inpatient and surgery patients.  Ability to utilize all radiographic, fluoroscopic and portable x-ray equipment. Completion of a formal two-year allied health AMA approved school.  Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and licensed by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association. Must be CPR certified. 

Additional Job Description

  • Graduate of an accredited program and currently registered to practice as an X-Ray Technician with the State of South Carolina.
  • Two (2) years clinical experience working in a patient care environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Ability to assume and learn functional responsibility of the specific position within three (3) months.
  • Knowledge of insurance and third-party payor requirements as related to treatment and care of patients.
