Job Description
As a Radiologic Technologist, you’ll perform diagnostic X-ray examinations that help physicians diagnose and monitor a variety of medical conditions. You’ll work closely with patients, providers, and your healthcare team to deliver high-quality imaging while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care.

Responsibilities:
-Perform diagnostic radiographic (X-ray) examinations.
-Operate portable X-ray equipment as needed.
-Inspect and maintain imaging equipment, supplies, and accessories to ensure they are functioning properly.
-Perform routine preventive maintenance and coordinate service repairs when necessary.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
-Monitor and replenish departmental supplies to ensure materials are readily available.
-Assist with safely lifting, positioning, and transporting patients when needed.
-Support quality patient care while collaborating with physicians, providers, and fellow healthcare professionals.
-Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations.

Additional Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or Radiography preferred).

Certifications:
-Current certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
-Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) for Healthcare Providers (or an AHA-recognized equivalent) or the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Healthcare Providers.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Previous radiologic imaging experience is preferred.
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
-Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
-Ability to prioritize tasks while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
-Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and delivering outstanding patient experiences.
