At MUSC Health, every patient interaction matters and it starts with you! As a Patient Registrar, you’ll play a key role in creating a smooth, welcoming experience from the moment patients arrive. What you will do

  • Welcome and register patients in a timely, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Accurately complete patient admissions and registration while ensuring information is up to date.
  • Obtain required patient signatures, identification, and insurance information.
  • Collect applicable deductibles, co-insurance, and other patient payments.
  • Follow established policies and procedures related to admitting, discharging, and transferring patients.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Help ensure every patient’s visit begins with an organized, positive experience.

Additional Job Description

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow business office policies and procedures.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • A positive, professional attitude and a genuine desire to help patients.

Why This Role Matters

You’re more than the person behind the registration desk you’re often the first impression of our hospital. Your professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail help patients feel confident and cared for before they even see their provider.

If you’re ready to make a difference one patient interaction at a time, we’d love to have you join our team!

If you like working with energetic enthusiastic individuals, you will enjoy your career with us!
