Job Description Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency disorders across a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and swallowing evaluations

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, and other care team members

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapeutic processes and home programs

  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to discharge planning

  • Stay current with advances in the field through continuing education and professional development

Additional Job Description

Education: Master degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an ASHA accredited program. 

Certification/Licensure:  Current SC state Speech Language Pathologist licensure is required.   Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) is required before seeing patients.
