Job Description Summary
The Operations Lead – Anesthesia Technician is responsible for coordinating day-to-day anesthesia technician operations, ensuring reliable, efficient, and high-quality technical support for anesthesia services across assigned facilities. This role oversees staffing assignments, daily equipment board, supply readiness, and workflow coordination. Working closely with anesthesia providers, the Anesthesia Technician Equipment Specialist, the Education & On-boarding Lead, and the Anesthesia Technician Manager, the Operations Lead ensures that technicians are deployed effectively, that cases are supported in a timely manner, and that essential equipment and supplies are consistently available and maintained. This role requires strong organizational skills, deep familiarity with perioperative workflows, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced clinical environment.Entity

Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate daily staffing assignments, break coverage, and real-time workflow adjustments. Ensure all anesthesia equipment and supplies are prepared, stocked, and functioning properly. Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate repairs or maintenance needs. Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to anesthesia technicians. Collaborate with anesthesia providers, OR charge nurses, and anesthesia managers to resolve workflow issues. Promote compliance with safety, infection prevention, and equipment protocols. Contribute to standardization and quality-improvement initiatives. Qualifications Experience as an anesthesia technician or in a perioperative support role required. Prior leadership experience (lead, charge, or preceptor) strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of OR workflows, anesthesia equipment, and supply processes. ASATT certification preferred but not required. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
