Job Description

(30%) – Provide administrative support to the Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education.  Manage calendar/scheduling needs; coordinate meeting logistics (space, food, AV, etc.); coordinate travel arrangements for local, regional, and national meetings; initiate reimbursement requests; other administrative duties as assigned.

 

(30%) - Provide administrative support to the Assistant Dean for Preclerkship Education, Associate Dean for Clinical Education, and other UME leaders as assigned.  Manage calendar/scheduling needs; coordinate meeting logistics (meeting space, food, AV, etc.); coordinate travel arrangements for local, regional, and national meetings; initiate reimbursement requests; other administrative duties as assigned.

 

(15%) – Prepare and distribute correspondence; organize and maintain accurate files and records; assist leaders with Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE) preparation

 

(15%) – Provide administrative support for UME committees as assigned, to include attending committee

and subcommittee meetings, preparation of agendas and minutes and follow-through on action items

 

(5%) – Provide support/assistance for UME events and special activities as assigned (White Coat, Match Day, GIFT program, Oath Ceremony, etc.)

 

(5%) – Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned

Additional Job Description

Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and five years relevant experience in business management, public administration or administrative services; or a bachelor's degree and three years experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
