Job Description Summary
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Department of Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine seeks a Section Chief of Geriatrics. This position will work closely with GIM leadership, stakeholders across campus, Department and institutional leadership to chart the course for Geriatrics quality, growth and innovation at MUSC. As Section Chief of Geriatrics, the Director will balance the education, research and clinical care responsibilities of the group and will provide leadership, scholarly support and mentorship to a talented team of faculty and advance practice providers, and inspire a team which contributes to all missions of the university: clinical care, education and scholarship. In addition to leadership responsibilities this position will also maintain a clinical presence in both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as our Fellows clinics.Entity
