Job Description Summary
The Department of Neuroscience and the Hollings Cancer Center (HCC) at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invite applications for a tenure-track faculty member at any rank in the research area of neuro-oncology. This search is part of a multi-year strategic plan to expand neuroscience and cancer research at MUSC. We are particularly interested in applicants that employ cutting-edge technologies and approaches to understand, detect, or treat cancers of the nervous system, including glioblastoma, as well as investigations that examine neurological problems associated with cancer and cancer risk, such as smoking. Applicants should have a PhD and/or MD with appropriate research expertise and are expected to possess an outstanding record of high-quality publications, a strong potential to secure extramural research funding, and a clear commitment to collaboration in a welcoming community.Entity
