Job Description Summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), located in coastal Charleston, SC, seeks an exceptional pediatric infectious diseases physician to join a dedicated and talented group of physicians. The Division of Infectious Diseases resides within a highly collaborative and academically diverse Department of Pediatrics and also enjoys a close working relationship with the Infectious Diseases Division in the Department of Internal Medicine. A successful candidate will contribute to the operation and expansion of the division with shared coverage of the inpatient and outpatient clinical services and partnership in our clinical, teaching and quality improvement missions. The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), located in coastal Charleston, SC, seeks an exceptional pediatric infectious diseases physician to join a dedicated and talented group of physicians.  Ideal Candidates:

• BC or BE pediatric infectious disease physician
• Strong clinical skills, desire to build collaborations across divisions, and commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based medicine in teaching and practice
• Candidates with expertise/interest in solid organ and/or hematopoietic cell transplant medicine and the immunocompromised host are encouraged
• Candidates seeking a combined position in pediatric and adult infectious disease will be considered
   

Opportunity Details:

• Dedicated Children’s ambulatory campus and hospital, with multi-disciplinary pediatric subspecialties, surgery centers, laboratories, pharmacies, infusion suites and radiology
• Expansion of ID division with coverage of inpatient and outpatient clinical services
