Job Description

The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is requesting approval to hire a Physical Medicine Sports Medicine physician as a faculty member in our physical medicine and rehabilitation division. This hire will serve and support all missions in the department with clinical, research, and teaching responsibilities.  

  

The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the Medical University of South Carolina is recruiting a board certified/ board eligible Physical Medicine Sports Medicine physician. The incumbent will partner with our current physical medicine and rehabilitation faculty and clinical staff in serving patients in the Charleston tri-county area. 

 
The Department of Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation has 45 Faculty members serving the clinical, research, and education missions. The Department delivers the region’s most comprehensive range of musculoskeletal services, encompassing every Orthopaedic subspecialty. We treat more than 36,000 patients each year with the most innovative technology and sophisticated procedures. 
 
The preferred candidate will have a robust clinical background as well as a sincere interest in both education and research and possess education experience.
