Job Description Summary
The Division of Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) housed within the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and the College of Health Professions at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenured Research Associate position. This position will be primarily grant-funded and will focus on research in voice, swallowing, and airway disorders. We are seeking a motivated Master’s-level speech-language pathologist (SLP) who has demonstrated research experience. The applicant must be knowledgeable in high resolution pharyngeal manometry and a certified rater for the Modified Barium Swallow Impairment Scale (MBS ImP). Qualified applicants must have at least five years of clinical experience, hold their CCCs; and be a candidate for state licensure in South Carolina. A Master’s degree in SLP is required. The successful candidate should qualify for appointment as a Research Associate. Salary is commensurate with qualifications.
