Hi Ashley, I am also a mom of three boys (college-age, but, oh, boy!) with a background in Public Health. I have worked in academic health policy research but am interested in clinical research opportunities here in Columbia. Are there specific departments here in Columbia who might be more likely to be hiring for these positions? Also, what skills would you recommend to have and/or brush up on in order to be successful in this field. Thank you!
Hi! I am not sure on specific positions available at this time in Columbia, but I would keep an eye on the website or contact the Columbia location for more details. I would recommend brushing up on project management skills. For a successful career in clinical research, having strong project management skills is a must. There are so many moving parts to keep up with- which is good! You never have a boring day! Being flexible is also key!
