I think the biggest thing about MUSC that is unique is the size of it. It truly is the largest in the state, has several different schools associated with it, and continues to expand and grow in order to reach some of the more rural areas of South Carolina and beyond. Additionally, when working for a major teaching hospital you are able to work with some of the best in the country, even the world! The location is also something pretty special :)
Some of the things unique about working at MUSC is the company's tripartite mission of providing care, research and academic education. It is a very inclusive culture. There are various educational events for anyone to attend, wonderful benefits and discounted perks that are also available. MUSC is also very involved, partnering and supporting multiple initiatives in the communities that we serve. Lastly, the one thing that is really unique is our involvement in innovation and the shark tank events that are held every year that anyone can participate in.
