  • Once you accept your offer to join the care team, you’ll be assigned an onboarding specialist who will help you complete pre-employment requirements and support you through your first day with the department. After attending HR orientation, you are handed off to the Radiology team for department orientation/training.

  • Once you complete hospital orientation, if hired on for Diagnostic Radiology, you will begin a four-week training rotation through the various areas of Diagnostic X-Ray, including the ER, OR, Fluoroscopy, and more. During this time, you’ll be assigned preceptors in each area who will guide you through the specific workflows and expectations, helping you develop the skills needed to succeed as a diagnostic technologist at MUSC.
