Job Description:
Supports the development and execution of growth and development activities for regional hospice services. Identifies strategies to identify key marketing targets. Organizes, coordinates and delivers marking strategies. Acts as the liaison between the hospice and its referral sources identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
Essential Functions:
Growth
Coordinate and support the execution of marketing initiatives. Responsible for hospice services growth in the region. Works with Administrator to establish new growth opportunities and new services areas.
Liaison
Acts as the liaison for the referral sources in the region.
Marketing
Plan and execute the ongoing marketing plan/goals. Evaluates unique marketing needs for the individual referral sources.
Education
Responsible for providing education on hospice services to referral sources and/or families.
Monitoring
Monitors census for changes in ADC and respond to those changes and sets growth goals accordingly.
Branding
Keep marketing material up to date. Distribute marketing materials. Ensure a consistent and clear branding message by ensuring that marketing material is displayed appropriately.
Case Conferences
Participates in the IDG meetings biweekly
Reporting
Reports on growth and marketing to the Director/Administrator monthly
Budgeting
Manages marking budget monthly

Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity. Identifies and addresses psychosocial, cultural, ethnic and religious/spiritual needs of patients and their families. Functions as liaison between administration, patients, physicians and other healthcare providers.
Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments. Works together as a team to provide safe, effective, quality care to all MUSC patients.
Manages and operates equipment safely and correctly. Identifies, labels and reports any equipment that is not functioning properly.
Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations.

Minimum Education and Work Experience:
Undergraduate degree preferred. 1 year marketing experience preferred. Nursing License Preferred.
