Job Description Summary

The HOPD Governance and Operations Lead serves as the central operational resource responsible for coordinating, tracking, and standardizing Hospital Outpatient Department (HOPD) requirements across all applicable MUSC Health locations. This role ensures operational readiness for HOPD compliance by consolidating documentation, checklists, attestations, and site-level ownership to support adherence to regulatory and payer requirements. Working closely with Compliance and Operations teams, this position translates ambiguous or evolving regulatory requirements into practical tools, standard templates, and repeatable processes that operational teams can execute consistently across sites. A defined escalation pathway is maintained for proactive identification and resolution of concerns or gaps, with an overarching focus on clarity, consistency, and operational rigor across the HOPD portfolio.
