Job Description
Reporting to the enterprise Chief Innovation Officer (CINO), the Director of Operations in the Office of Innovation will work with the CINO to foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement across MUSC’s academic health system. In collaboration with the CINO, the Director will manage a portfolio of initiatives that empower faculty, researchers, care team members, learners, and staff to think and act like entrepreneurs within the organization, enhancing patient care, research outcomes, education, and operational efficiency. This role is largely internally focused, supporting initiatives within the university and health system, and qualified candidates must have an interest in facilitating innovation in all three of MUSC’s missions: education, research, and patient care. The position is suited for candidates with operational leadership experience and does not carry executive or C-suite responsibilities.
This position is based in Charleston and is full-time, in person.
