Creates quality management plans; develops and maintains project documentation; oversees project design to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, or agency's criteria, codes and regulations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the analysis, initiation, planning, execution, and closeout of projects as assigned by the Plant Ops Director / Director of Operations  based on prioritization.
  • Manage work ticket system to ensure requests are being fielded and responded to; communication to stakeholders on progress of work being completed
  • Maintain expense summaries as Supplier Invoice Requests (SIR) are entered with vendor work being completed; will need to enter SIRs into OurDay
  • Documentation lead for DNV standards – will need to maintain binders for each site compiling documentation on regular checks and adherence to national standards; will work with managers at each site and the divisional director for guidance on work but will be responsible for reminders and documentation prep for DNV Accreditation Survey.
  • Creates quality management plans; develops and maintains project documentation; oversees project design to ensure compliance with federal and state laws, or agency's criteria, codes and regulations.
  • Exhibits strong project initiation and planning activities with experience justifying and planning projects, to include scope, requirements, defining and baselining project scopes (via contract review, scope statements, resource allocation, timeline development, communication)
  • This position is responsible for all project management activities, updates, and reporting across existing and new application implementations within the division
  • This role ensures the accurate recording and timely resolution of project issues, change requests, and risks, and for maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation
  • Responsible for executing approved projects to meet expectations, deadlines, and budgets including: managing stakeholder expectations, planning, and scheduling project resources, managing team members as well as vendors
  • Manages the procurement process required by the project and participates in contract negotiations resulting from
  • Proactively manages risks and issues to deliver projects according to scope
  • Working knowledge of analytical and problem-solving techniques and tools with strong project execution abilities and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to organize, manage, and lead the project team to success through building strong relationships with colleagues and system partners
  • Demonstrates self-awareness and provides mentorship to other team members
  • Utilizes change management to control scope and communicate scope changes
  • Tracks and reports project progress and forecast trends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including summaries, presentations, and executive reports
  • The PM will provide internal direction, leadership, and accountability for project management efforts among operations as well as across the system
  • Will define project objectives and measures to be tracked by the responsible business owners, and develop and maintain detailed project plans
  • Identify trends and process improvement opportunities across departments
  • Perform high level data analysis, including cost/benefit analysis
  • Develop and implement key metrics to measure and report on progress of initiatives
  • Work with other managers to achieve efficiencies across integration of projects
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, this includes utilizing standard project documentation and methodology and project tracking and reporting procedures
  • Develop cross-functional, change management and implementation strategies; ensure that all the participating parties have committed to effective implementation of the processes and procedures
  • Oversees the development and execution of communication plan which may include communicating with organizational leaders, elected officials, and the general public about the project's impact or status.
  • Assist team members in resolving project problems, escalates issues when necessary, and facilities decision-making
  • Provide concise and timely status reporting as required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, statistics, health care, management, or related business field required and four-six (4-6) years of Project Management experience, OR Master’s degree and two (2) years of Project Management experience:
    • Experience must be in supporting, leading, or coordinating project activities
    • At least (1-2) years of direct management experience and leading a team
    • Experience using SharePoint, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel required
    • Experience leading projects, including requesting / securing approval to start projects through project closeout
    • Experience with all phases of project management, with demonstrated success across a variety of project types with a focus on healthcare related projects
    • Proficiency of project management tools and techniques (e.g., project planning, risk/issue management, governance, cost/benefit analysis, project change controls)
    • Ability to facilitate working sessions with cross-functional teams
    • Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects concurrently
    • An ability to quickly adapt to changes in a dynamic environment
    • Experience building and managing budgets and budget forecasting
    • Strong project management, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written)
    • Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills and prioritize multiple tasks in a demanding work environment
