Successful applicants should possess excellent clinical skills and have experience in teaching fellows, residents, and students. Research experience in clinical trials, imaging, cognitive neuroscience, dementia/Alzheimer’s disease, or other related areas is essential. Board certification in general neurology is required. Job Description
The selected candidate will join a growing team with the newly formed South Carolina Alzheimer’s Network (SCAN). SCAN is a multi-site clinical program at MUSC Health designed to provide patients with an early and accurate diagnosis and treatment plan, longitudinal co-management with primary care, access to the new Alzheimer’s disease medications, and access to the latest research. The newly formed clinical SCAN team consists of 3 APPs, 2 Dementia Care Social Workers, Psychometrists, Dementia care Schedulers, and multiple partnerships and collaborations with Primary Care, Behavioral Psychiatry, and Geriatric Psychiatry.
