The Department of Healthcare Leadership and Management at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) invites applications for the role of Division Director – Master of Health Administration (MHA). This is a full-time faculty position with administrative responsibilities, offered on the academic educator track with rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Key Responsibilities:
The MHA Division Director provides strategic leadership for the division, ensuring alignment with departmental and institutional goals while fostering an innovative and student-centered learning environment. This role includes oversight of curriculum development, faculty mentorship, and programmatic accreditation, particularly maintaining CAHME accreditation standards. The Director collaborates with faculty and administration to enhance student success, drive program assessment and continuous improvement, and implement competency-based education strategies. Additionally, they represent the program at professional conferences and industry events to attract top-tier students and faculty. As a key liaison between the division, university leadership, and external stakeholders, the Director strengthens partnerships to advance the program’s reputation and impact.
