Yes, but we have limited positions available for new graduates. Please note that applications for adult ICU positions will close early (January 12 as opposed to February 9).
We encourage new graduates to gain experience in acute or intermediate care units prior to transitioning to the ICU. Another option is joining the Meduflex float pool, where you rotate to various acute care units.
Input your BLS information and/or CPR certification in this field instead. We understand that you're not officially licensed yet, but this is a question that is required in the application.
No, you do not need to submit a separate application for the nurse residency program. New hires within their first 12 months of clinical practice are automatically enrolled in our 6-month nurse residency program.
Virtual and in-person interviews will take place in January or February 2025, depending on which areas you applied for:
Virtual interviews will be conducted via Microsoft Teams or via phone call. When you complete your application, you will be asked if you prefer virtual or in-person. We are happy to accommodate your preference.
At this event, all interviews are for MUSC Health Charleston's medical center and ambulatory locations. Our ambulatory facilities are found across the Lowcountry in Mount Pleasant, James Island, West Ashley, North Charleston, Summerville, and more.

We wish! However, the answer is, unfortunately, no. Our critical care and Children's and Women's units typically receive high interest.* If these are your only units of interest, you may not receive an interview.
To improve your chances of receiving an interview, consider applying to other units of interest, such as acute care, intermediate care, and other critically needed areas at MUSC Health.
*Please note: applications for these areas as well as Emergency Departments, Institute of Pyschiatry, and Meduflex close earlier than those for other areas - January 12 instead of February 9. Please plan accordingly.
Unit representatives and hiring managers will contact potential candidates to schedule interviews. Virtual and in-person interviews will take place in January or February 2025, depending on what areas you're interested in:
We anticipate extending conditional offers to successful candidates depending on their area of interest:
Candidates will then have 48 hours to verbally accept or decline the offer. After verbally accepting, candidates have an additional 48 hours to accept the offer online and complete onboarding information.
