"A patient's perception is their reality, and each situation should be evaluated from that perception. As we examine the perception of others, we are able to identify ways to provide better patient care and offer exceptional service to our patients and their families. Our 'routine' is our patient's extreme. Always be aware that our patients may not always understand and know what to expect when they come to our area. Even if we have seen them multiple times, each encounter has the potential to have external factors that cause each visit to be like the very first. "
