I started x-ray school right out of high school. I graduated from a hospital-based program at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC and left after graduation to work in urgent care only to return 8 years later. I worked in the level 1 trauma center for 22 years while going back to school to get my bachelor's degree in medical Imaging in Leadership. I left Atrium Health -CMC after 22 years in November to take the Radiology Operations Manager job here at MUSC. I have been with MUSC 1 year and 5 months and I am enjoying every minute of it. I am currently enrolled at Cabarrus College of Health Sciences master's in health science program and scheduled to be complete in December of this year.

It never too late to accomplish dreams when life happens. I had some issues in life come up that delayed my process in going back to school and obtaining my degree.
