Responsibilities include facilitating and implementing innovative teaching strategies including scholarship, and may also include clinical course teaching, including monitoring Typhon. Experience in graduate online teaching methods is preferred, but a motivated candidate without teaching experience who meets the educational and professional requirements will be considered.
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Earned Doctor of Nursing Practice degree or PhD with experience in quality improvement (QI), evidenced-based practice, program implementation/evaluation, and/or policy. Nurse Executive DNP candidates must have experience in QI. Successful candidates will have effective interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and abilities. It is recommended that the candidate is a practicing APRN. As an APRN they should hold active state licensure and national certification with at least two years of APRN practice experience in primary care or related settings.
